I am a posdoctoral researcher at the Cosmic DAWN Center in Copenhagen, Denmark. I did my PhD in astrophysics at Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris. My research interests revole around infering how the properties of galaxies are shaped by the dark matter halos and the anisotropic environment -- the cosmic web. For such studies that span the majority of cosmic history, my work focuses on the exploitation of deep and wide multi-wavelength photometric surveys to acurately estimate distances to galaxies (throught their photometric redshift) and their stellar mass.
As part of my postdoc, I am working with large-survey photometric data from the James Webb Space Telescope. More precisely, I am producing multi-wavelength galaxy catalogs using multi-band model fitting approach in JWST, HST and ground based data.
Apart from astronomy, I like to always keep myself engaged in various activities. I train for olympic distance triathlons, and play tennis, football and many other sports.
I feel some drive for artistic expression: from music and photograpy to making beautiful scientific plots (yeah, there can be a way to express visual art witch science, and especially astronomy). I have recently reignited my enthusiasm for the electric guitar and the infinite possibilities of sound it offers, where I'm learning to play new techniques and styles. I also got on the train of analog photography where the act of making a photo be is a completely different experience.
